The
WINTRE’S WISHES
FOUNDATION is committed to
raising attention & awareness of sexual abuse
in Oregon.
We
are dedicated to
PREVENTION, SUPPORT and ADVOCACY
for survivors of sexual abuse and their supporters; we empower
communities in Oregon to stand against sex abuse.
We are founded by a board of
directors composed of survivors of sexual abuse and supporters
who are committed to ending sexual abuse and promoting social
justice for our children.
Wintre’s Wishes Foundation has applied to the U.S. IRS as a
non-profit, tax-exempt, 501(c)(3) organization -
February, 2008
WINTRE'S WISHES GOALS
We are committed to ending the cycle of sexual abuse through
support in healing, social justice, consequence management and
seeking institutional change by holding perpetrators and their
organizations accountable.
We are committed to:
PREVENTION
through public awareness and education, eliminating stigma and
serving as a resource for those touched by sexual abuse.
SUPPORTING
our community by providing educational resources, support
groups, and opportunities for the community to participate in
events that bring people together in a safe environment to stand
against sexual abuse.
We are dedicated to providing resources that are
responsive to the needs of individuals, families and groups
seeking assistance and
connecting survivors, their families, and supporters to
resources and a network of others who have similar experiences.
ADVOCATING
for survivors of sexual abuse by bringing individuals and
families together to break down the stigma’s associated with sex
abuse and to leverage a platform where our voices are used to
stand against perpetrators.
